On a significant move towards enhancing safety and comfort, the Councillor (Neetu Manish Choudhary) has sanctioned funds for improved street lighting in our colony. This initiative underscores a commitment to not only beautify the area but also ensure a secure environment for residents.
The recent ‘udghatan’ event marked the culmination of this effort, celebrated by residents who gathered to thank Neetuji and requested work to commence at the earliest citing and laying emphasis on the importance of well-lit streets in fostering a sense of safety.
Residents expressed that the improved lighting would not only aid in reducing accidents but also encourage evening walks for them on well-lit streets. With the successful deployment of this project, the community can now navigate its streets with added confidence, embodying the spirit of progress and unity that defines our neighborhood. 7th January 2025, witnessed the ‘udghatan’ for the much-needed streetlight poles in NFC just before announcement of the forthcoming Assembly Elections. At the udghatan, Neetu Manish Choudhary informed all present that light poles for Blocks A, B & C in NFC have been ordered and are expected to arrive within the next 10 days.
Meanwhile, the electrical team has assured us that they will commence work in three weeks. Residents present thanked to Neetuji and Manishji for making this possible through their persistent efforts to engage Member of Parliament Harsh Malhotra, ensuring this project was sanctioned from MP funds. We hope that the work sees light of the day soon.
