In India, cricket is akin to a religion. All of us have watched cricket since our childhoods. Many of us continue to follow it with unparalleled zest. To be honest, I don’t think there is anyone who has never watched a cricket match!
Over the last few years, the IPL fever has gripped the nation. It’s brought even more enthusiasm & excitement to the game. To cash on this excitement, IDFC First Bank organised a Fastest Bowler First Challenge in the premises of the multipurpose sports lawn of Lotus Espacia.
The Challenge was organised in collaboration with the Estate office of AOA. The aim of the Challenge was to ascertain who can bowl the fastest & highest. There were also a lot of exciting prizes to be won. On Saturday, 6 May, between 3 & 7 PM, eager cricketing enthusiasts & their cheerleaders gathered in the sports lawn to participate.
The Challenge saw a good turnout of 28 participants. A scoreboard was put up to keep a record of the performances. All the participants gave their best. The energy was electrifying! We look forward to more such competitions.
