I am 10 years old and a student of class 5! I have always been impressed by the names of different authors and have dreamt of seeing my name as the author of a great book! God has been kind that I have parents and teachers who helped my dream come true.
I am so happy and excited to share that my dream has come true, and I have authored my first book, ‘Undiscovered’.
On a usual school day, a classmate brought a book to school which had her name imprinted on the cover page. Another two classmates told me that they had also authored a book. Since it has been my dream for a while, I was curious to know how they did it. My friend, then, told me about Bribooks.com.
So, I looked up the website and that’s when my journey to write my own book started! I put a lot of thought about the topic for my book and the best topic that I could think of was the unexplored places of India.
In order to provide reliable and credible content, I referred to texts like Rigveda, Vishnu Purana, Skanda Purana and also a YouTube channel named ‘Raaaz’.
During the process of writing, I realised that it is not an easy process to write a book and that it needed sincere efforts to find the right topic, content, valid references and, above all, time, since children of my age are busy with school and games.
Nevertheless, I was determined to overcome all these challenges because I knew that the sense of accomplishment is a reward in itself and that I would become one of the instruments of spreading knowledge about our rich culture and a glorious past through my book.
