In a vibrant display of national pride and communal spirit, the residents of Elite Homz came together on the occasion of 77th Independence Day to celebrate the cherished values of freedom, unity, and diversity.
The atmosphere was electric as families, friends, and neighbours draped in the tricolour and ethnic gathered to commemorate the nation’s journey towards independence.
The celebrations commenced with a heartfelt flag march with kids, citizens, ex-defence
personnels & society security gauds. This was followed by Flag hoisting ceremony, attended by residents of all ages, from the youngest toddlers to the elderly. The unfurling of the Indian flag, accompanied by the stirring strains of the national anthem, filled the air with a sense of reverence and devotion to the motherland.
The housing society was adorned with vibrant decorations, decked out in the hues of the national flag. The Garden, Society entrance and play arena were adorned with tricolour streamers and buntings.
A cultural extravaganza followed, showcasing the rich tapestry of India’s heritage. Residents took to the stage with performances that ranged from classical dances to melodious renditions of patriotic songs.
Children presented dance skits that narrated the tales of patriotism, inspiring the audience with their passion and dedication.
The celebrations extended beyond the stage, with a sumptuous spread of traditional Indian delicacies. Families enjoyed a feast of regional cuisines, reinforcing the theme of unity in diversity and fostering cross-cultural interactions. The rain shower in-between the electric atmosphere tried to shade the ceremony but enthusiastic and considerate residents continued and supported very well to complete the predefined agenda of the day.
The main attraction was the medals distribution ceremony for the “Khelo Elite Khelo -2023” sports event.The managing committee expressed their pride in the collective efforts of the residents.
