It was in 2015 when Garima Bais realized that she could actually write. She had started working as a translator for a website and loved the way she could form stories out of nothing. Soon, this writing flair changed from just a profession to a full-fledged passion.
Every morning, Garima would awaken with a renewed sense of excitement, eager to create a new word miracle that day.
So, it was not a surprise when Garima’s heart prompted her to start writing a book. The story that it churned out was a love story that spans a few years. The words to that wonderful love saga started forming in 2022; before she knew it, she had penned down 8000 words.
Then, writer’s block crept in; Garima lost all desire to complete the book. In 2024, she had enough time to spare; this time, she decided to finish what she had started.
Garima’s beautiful and simple love story, ‘I Will Always Wait For You’, hit the Amazon and Flipkart stores on Tuesday, 1 October 2024. Finally, she was a published author; this achievement prompted her to self-publish a book on positive thinking in November 2024.
Garima has also completed one manuscript, a love story with a touch of trauma to it. Its publication would take some time though, as she wants readers to enjoy her first book. Writing has given her the wings to fly; there is going to be no looking back now.
For those who are unaware, Garima is a PH4 resident. She is a teenager’s mother and loves reading books and listening to music. Her avid reading was also another reason why she turned towards writing. She is geared up towards writing more books in various genres; we can’t wait to see what she brings up next.
