As stated in my earlier article some parts of the colony have become dumping ground for both horticulture ruffage and malba.
Where ever Malis find some waste dumped they come and dump their own pruning waste making it a bigger dump of horticulture waste (like the one in front of C-325) for which regular complaints are received from residents to get it removed not taking into account that it is thanks to some of them that it has happened.
The RWAs said that such accumulation of horticulture waste around the colony was because the dept was short staffed last month as most of their contractual labourers’ contracts had expired which has now been renewed and the labour is back in full strength.
Gradually all the horticulture waste is being picked. Residents are requested to advice their staff to take horticulture waste to dhalaos and not dump it on road sides.
Let’s keep our colony clean.
We as residents are equally responsible with MCD for this cause.
