On 23 Dec at around 6.30 am, a Honda city, while trying to save a cyclist, hit an electric pole near the T Point red light crossing of R Block. The pole broke in to two pcs. Luckily the O H wires did not snap. Secretary S Block Welfare Society, Sanjeev Gupta, noticed the incident & immediately informed Mr Lalit of BSES complaint center at W Block. The team swung into action immediately. A crane was pressed into service & the pole was replaced by evening. The couple in the Honda City was safe.
