Holi, known as the festival of colours, holds deep cultural and spiritual significance in India. It symbolizes the triumph of good over evil, inspired by the legend of Prahlad and Holika. The festival also marks the arrival of spring, representing renewal, harmony, and the blossoming of new beginnings. Music, dance, and laughter fill the air, creating an atmosphere where strangers become friends and communities bond over shared happiness.
On 14 March, the excitement and energy in the Colony on Holi was palpable. The festival was celebrated enthusiastically with traditional fervour and customary revelry at Vasant Kunj Sector A Pocket C with a feeling of community togetherness and bonding.
Elders, youth, children-and all gathered at the ARWA office and wished and greeted each other with cheerful abandon-with hugs, handshakes along with the colours of joy. There was cheer all around and the flavours of the festive celebrations were enhanced by the herbal gulal, gujia, soft drinks, and tea.
