All of us eagerly wait for the festival of colours, to come out …. play and make merry. And then as all say…The More the Merrier!!! Further, being together for the celebrations galore …. adds
the maximum value. With that thought in mind, NFC RWA (Ashoka Park) organized a “Holi Milan” on 7 Mar at the B-Block Skating Rink Park in the evening with lovely goodies, entertainment, etc. Residents were greeted with a ‘tilak’. On the table was a spread of Purani Dilli Ki Famous Chaat, Purani Dilli Ki Kulfi, A Barbeque and Tandoori/Tikka stall, Naan/Tandoori Roti, Missi Roti with the delicious Aloo Ji Sabzi and the warmest and crispiest JALEBIS …. uuuffff what a delight!! A sure MISS for all who could not make it to the event/celebrations.
The RWA expresses its gratitude and thanks to Gurbir Singh, who travelled all the way from Mohali to present and keep all enthralled with his mesmerizing music and singing. The atmosphere was so serene with lovely ghazals, some Sufi music being sung by Gurbirji. Everyone enjoyed and were seen walking up to the gentleman, with requests for their personal favourites to be sung and enjoyed. The celebrations continued till last, maybe 10.30 pm, and some residents still did not wish to leave. To add to the whole fun, the weather also behaved like a best friend. It seemed that all present thoroughly enjoyed their evening.
