On the 7th of March, RECA organized a Holika Dahan function. The event started with a puja conducted by pandit ji, which was attended by a large number of people from the community. After the puja, a fair was set up with a variety of rides, games, lifestyle stalls and food stalls, which were enjoyed by everyone who attended the event.
The next day, on Holi (8th March), specific areas were allocated for wet and dry Holi. Wet Holi is played with water and dry Holi is played with dry colours. The organizers took care to ensure that everyone could enjoy the festival without any hassles. There were designated areas for wet and dry Holi which ensured that those who did not want to play with water could avoid it.
To make the festival more enjoyable, a DJ was arranged, and food stalls were set up so that people could dance and enjoy delicious food. The DJ played popular Holi songs that got everyone grooving. The food stalls served traditional Holi delicacies like gujiya, mathri, and thandai. People relished the food while enjoying the festivities.
The event brought people together, and everyone had a great time.
