The colourful and vibrant festival of Holi was celebrated on 8 Mar, at the DC(WA) Club with members families and friends meeting and greeting each other with joyous Happy Holi. Under a multicoloured awning Holi Revellers smeared each other with the traditional holi colours wishing each other with great bonhomie, helped by the beat of the dhol a DJ on hand to shake a leg all day long to all the memorable Holi numbers and much beer in the other hand. A festival of jollity and vibrancy with all day long masti, and a special menu to enjoy arranged by the Club. The club lawns were packed as the day wore on especially with children and holi mischief. Though the A block Club stole a march over a reasonable 300 per head entry of approx 20 delicious holi snacks to enjoy from Bengal Sweet house as against the 900 per head special menu offered by C block Club, nevertheless enjoyment is in the air when it’s Holi and nothing matters except fun and masti and this the C block Club EC committee arranged in good measure to ensure a good time was had by all with another memorable Holi event 2023.The occasion was also attended by our distinguished guests the MLA Madan Lal, Madame Councilor Mrs Anita and Sandeep Basoya who also participated in the festivities.
