Holi a vibrant and colourful festival was celebrated by Hamilton society with a lot of vigour and enthusiasm. A festival of love, unity, joy and harbinger of the spring sea son. The festivity was very well-planned by RWA with the venue having amazing music, a rain-dance floor, and delicious savoury, chat patta street food items adding to the festive mood.
The residents and especially the children enjoyed the day with no restrictions by the elderly, as the last two years were really dreadful for everyone. The air was full of laughter, joy and smiles spreading everywhere as they say ‘where the mind is without fear’. The fragrance of vibrant colours, children running around with water guns, balloons and colour-smashed faces with a backdrop of loud tappy Bollywood numbers was a scene worth enjoying. The rain dance, music, sun, drinks and friends, the perfect ingredients for a memorable Holiday were there.
