Holi was celebrated with enthusiasm and joy at Children’s Park on the 14th of March. It was a beautiful day, and the RWA left no stone unturned in making perfect arrangements for the residents to enjoy the festival of colour with their neighbours and friends.
The decorations were stunning, and a great idea was implemented by covering a large area with a tent, providing much-needed shade on a hot day. This allowed people to sit comfortably and enjoy the delicious food, which included kachoris, pani ke batashe, tikki pav bhaji, kanji thandai rabari jalebi and many other delicacies.
One of the highlights of the event was the well-organized food stalls—two large stalls were set up to prevent overcrowding, ensuring a smooth experience for everyone.
The celebration reached its peak with residents dancing joyfully in the rain showers for at least three hours. The best part of this year’s Holi celebration was the overwhelming participation of youngsters, who thoroughly enjoyed playing with colour. The event also featured a wonderful cultural program, adding to the festive spirit.
Resident MP Dr Mahesh Sharma and Dr Uma Sharma also played Holi with fellow residents.
Overall, it was a memorable and vibrant Holi celebration enjoyed by all!
