Festival of colors brings the residents together
Holi is one festival that reminds us of colors, fun n frolic, friendly meets and happiness galore. This year Holi was on 25th March 2024.
RWA did not have to spend anything on the event, the sale of the tickets as well as generous donations by residents- Anand Gupta and filled the gap. This year the fun and Masti was all time high.
Mr Anand Gupta took the lead to organize in K block Park. He organized a person who cooked lunch on the spot. A DJ was also set. All the RWA members helped in selling the tickets. A resident member offered to provide colors at wholesale rate. So with the purchase of colors the mood was set to celebrate Holi in the best possible way.
Kids of the colony joined in for all the hulla -gulla…. throwing water colors at each other. Elders joined in to play Abeer Holi with dry colours. Dancing on Bhangra beats…splashing colors…and songs..the environment was filled with thrilling laughter. The DJ belted out the best holi numbers making the crowd go crazy. It was the best DJ we have had so far. Little kiddos with backpack Holi pitchers could be seen spraying water on every one and then bursting out in adorable giggles. What a heart warming sight it was!
Everyone present there had broad smiles being part of the spirited Holi event. Lunch was served at 12.30pm which included chole, Puri, zeera rice, raita, sabzi and delicious halwa. Everyone enjoyed the hot Lunch after the colorful Holi bash. All in all everyone enjoyed it to the hilt.
Peace from white,
Power from Red,
Knowledge from yellow ,
Development from Green
And Love from pink.
May this Holi bring colors of peace and Happiness for all people in times to come.
