Holi at Club 26

Holi is a festival of colour, joy, and togetherness. The fes-tival is also about making tra-ditional sweet gujia, drinking thandai, and making kanji dahi bhallas at home. Kids start their Holi two or three days before the festival by purchasing attractive pichkaris and water balloons.

Club 26’s lawn is the perfect place where almost the whole sector gathers to play Holi. Each one could be seen enjoying this festival of colours in their own way. Elders were wishing and hug-ging and putting gulal on each other’s foreheads while youngsters were playing Holi with pakka colours and water and were dancing to Holi songs. Kids were excited about throwing water balloons at each other and were chasing their friends to put water on them. The colour was in the air as everyone was dancing and having fun with each other and was simultaneously enjoying halwa, puri, aloo ki sabji and thandai.

C-block residents too played Holi in their park by putting colourful gulal on each other, dancing and chatting, and taking selfies.
