Meghdutam Park, a boon and a blessing for residents of Noida is a vast spread out park offering green respite in this world of plastic. The park does have patches of concrete but that still compliments the need of walkers, joggers and visitors. However addition of any kind of plastic should be completely prohibited especially where the need can be sufficed by bio-degradable material.
The recent addition of plastic pots at the entrance of the park may be adding to the beauty, but is also adding to the woes of plastic use. Authorities can please consider to either using the land much available to beautify the entrance or use earthen pots.
Another noticeable point in the Meghdutam Park – It’s appreciable to see people consideration towards community animals by placing water containers all across. This will bring a huge respite to animals during the approaching summer months. Suggest making an outlet at the bottom to drain out the contaminated water, when needed, and refill with fresh clean water – a small valve at the bottom may do the trick. Reducing the height of the container by a few inches may also be considered to help dogs reach the water level.
