The HCL Foundation, under its Clean City Programme, and in partnership with Noida Authority, held an awareness-building session on “Solid Waste Management and its Impact on Nature Conservation” in light of the upcoming Nature Conservation Day. The session covered essential practices for managing solid waste effectively and highlighted how these practices contribute to the conservation of nature. As a token of appreciation, all participants were given a gift of a compost kit from HCL. The event saw active participation from over fifty residents and workers, who eagerly engaged in discussions and shared their insights. During the session, Shruti Mishra emphasized the importance of avoiding the use of disposable things, encouraging everyone to adopt more sustainable alternatives. Additionally, Kokila Khanna, Ranjana Bajaj, Monika Shukla and Anupma shared valuable suggestions on how to incorporate waste-management practices into daily life. These steps can make our community a cleaner, greener place.
