On the occasion of Hariyali Teej, a festival celebrated by women to mark Saawan ki tritya tithi, Golf City plot 8, Sector 75, Noida held a function within the society campus. The evening was vibrant with colour tents encompassing numerous stalls of jewellery, clothing, bedsheets, makeup goodies, ladies suits, cushion covers, and other such fun stuff. Many games and rides were there for children to enjoy. Mouth watering eatables like matra kulcha, chaat, chuski, noodles, softy, Jain kulfi, pizzas and mocktails kept everyone’s hunger away.
The ladies of the society came together to fill the evening with dance performances, skits and poems. There were games for them to win prizes! Tambola was also played with a lot of fun and laughter.Teej queen contest was held in two groups : below 50 and above 50. Anur Batra won in below 50 and Surinder Kaur in above 50. The judges, Monika and yours faithfully had a tough time choosing one queen, as many women were dressed in beautiful attire and each was giving tough competition to another! Everyone was in peppy mood despite the heat and sweat and enjoyed the evening with great gusto. Prizes were given to all participants and winners.
