ing, Hari Om Ji is using an LPG cylinder for his iron!
Hari Om Lal is 50 years old and a native of Rajasthan. He came to Gurugram in the year 2000 with his wife, two daughters and son. He set up his shack here back then and has been diligently working since.
A popular figure among the residents of DLF-1, Hari Om Ji was helped by a G Block resident who used to live here earlier, and who did all the research on how to convert his energy source from coal to a cylinder.
Hari Om Lal has become an integral part of the DLF-1 community over the years and has gained the love and respect of many residents. Some Silver Oak residents have also stepped forward to support him in funding his daughters’ education.
He is a shining example of an innovative entrepreneur who boldly took the step towards eco-friendly service for the residents. Local bodies in DLF-1 should study Hari Om Ji’s example and encourage other local presswalas to adopt the use of LPG cylinders instead of coal. By extending support to our local service providers, residents can contribute to the betterment of the environment in their small way.
