Last month, Carltonites gathered once again to Donate to a worthy Cause- Har Haath Kitaab. The drive was initiated by an NGO – Inchpaper. The idea was to have people donate old books and notebooks which would be used to help the underprivileged children. The drive was indeed successful in collecting boxes of donated books and notebooks. The NGO as an appreciation towards all the residents who participated in this drive officially thanked Carlton by giving a certificate of appreciation.
“Drives like these not only help the needy but also bring people together and remind us of a sense of community. I appreciate the efforts CECA is making to get Carlton involved in philanthropic activities too.’ A resident mentioned. Giving anyone a gift of education, through whatever means is a gift that lasts a lifetime.
