तीज के त्योहार का मौका, लेडीज ने किया धमाका, हर परफार्मेंस थी पटाखा
Like every year, the Ladies association of Panchsheel Enclave, organized a grand ‘Hariyali Teej” celebration on 7th August at the Holiday Club .It was a vibrant and joyous affair bringing together members young and old to observe the traditional festival. The women were dressed in hues of green to enjoy the essence of Teej. The venue was decorated in shades of green symbolizing the monsoon season and matching the lushness it brings. Ms. Shikha Rai was the guest of honor who lit the Diya and kick started the programme. The programme started with Ganesh Vandana followed by music and dance.
The festive mood started the previous day with mehendi artists adorning the hands of the ladies. Applying Mehendi is a key tradition of the festival. Traditional songs were played and folk dances were performed which resonated with the spirit of Teej. A note of thanks was given to the participants who performed such amazing dances. Shashi Taneja and Shivani were also appreciated for the lovely decoration and creating such a beautiful Teej ambience. Members young and old, proactively participated and kept the tradition alive. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music and a strong sense of community. It was truly inspiring to see the seniors so active and energized. The tireless efforts of the President and her team behind the scenes should be lauded and appreciated for giving a grand and successful programme.
