Hanuman Jayanti is celebrated every year in the E block of the Anand Niketan colony. Ladies of the E block take the initiative every year to collect funds and the resi-dents of the colony participate in this event wholeheartedly. It is that evening in the colony where everyone gathers in the E block park and spends the entire evening enjoying the melody of bhajans, the aarti as also the Prasad.
This time however just before the function was to start, an hour before that, there were insistent rains, storms and thunder. Everyone was wondering how the event would take place but to the delight of everyone Hanuman Ji took care of all the worries of his devotees and the weather cleared.
The ladies who had come to perform the Sunderkand path did so beautifully and everyone present could be seen enjoying the path and even reciting the path along with the ladies. After every Doha they sang bhajans of Hanuman Ji and Ramji which were truly beautiful. The beautifully narrated Sunderkand path cast a spell on all those present and no one wanted to get up even for a single minute lest they may miss out on something.
Prasad of kadhi-chawal, aloo-puri and puri-halwa was enjoyed by all.
