On Sunday, 28 July, the Clubhouse came alive with vibrant Teej festivities, celebrated enthusiastically.
The event was designed specifically for the women of AOH by the women of AOH. The Cultural Committee, led by Prof. Nita Verma, Rekha Agarwal – the convenor, and the cultural team, organised the event, which was a true showcase of community spirit and cultural pride.
The Teej Utsav offered a variety of activities, ensuring a day filled with joy and engagement. Residents enjoyed many shopping options, offering unique items and tantalising their tastebuds with delicious and high-quality food.
Other highlights included traditional mehndi artists who added a touch of festivity, enhancing the celebration. The event also had a photo booth for capturing memories, lively entertainment, including dance and music, and a spirited tambola game.
A standout feature was the traditional Teej swing, a hallmark of the festivities, which was a favourite among many.
The Cultural Committee’s careful planning and execution made the event successful, creating a warm and festive atmosphere for everyone. The event not only celebrated the festival but also highlighted the strong sense of community at AOH, leaving residents excited for future gatherings.
