Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki!
Like every year, Boulevard celebrated its Janmashtami festivities in front of the temple. This lovely event was organized by the LB Radhe Krishna temple volunteers. It had everything one might expect from Janmashtami celebrations whether it be breathtaking dance performances, dahi handi, kirtan or even Maha – aarti.
The Maha-Aarti was done to symbolize and enjoy Krishna ji’s birth. One could see that the Janmashtami celebration was a grand success simply from the line formed at the mandir by the residents who wanted to swing Krishna ji’s cradle and get His blessings.
The scale of the Janmashtami celebration this year was massive with performances going on for three hours. The event in itself lasted over six hours. The temple provided all devotees prasad in the form of fruits, panjeeri and charnaamrit.
The Janmashtami celebration was indeed the best so far! Everyone enjoyed to the fullest. The enthusiasm was at its peak. A few mind-blowing performances will be remembered for long by LBins. A big thank you to all the participants and volunteers; without their support, the event wouldn’t have been so successful!
