Charitable clinic helping scores of people everyday!
I am really happy to share that Gurudwara Sikh Sangat, Green Park, South Delhi has a dispensary which has a wide panel of specialized doctors which cater to the need of underprivileged people at a very nominal or negligent cost. As part of the Green park community I have always encouraged many residents to avail this facility.
The Green Park Gurudwara on main Aurobindo Marg was established in the Mid 60’s for people residing in nearby localities like Green Park, Green Park Extn. Hauz Khas, Gulmohar Park, Safdarjung Development Area, Gautam Nagar & other nearby colonies.
For the benefit of the public, firstly only a Charitable Homoeopathic Dispensary was started in the late 70’s. Then in the year 2001 after the new building of the Gurdwara Sahib was constructed, a separate medical unit was set up and initially facilities like Homoeopathic, Allopathic, Physiotherapy, Eye unit etc. were being provided for the benefit of the residents of nearby areas on charitable basis. With the passage of time, other facilities like ENT, Orthopaedic, Diabetes and Heart Specialist, Child Specialist, Gynaecologist, Neurologist, Skin Specialist etc. have been added and can be availed by the general public.
Here in the Dispensary, renowned Doctors see patients like Dr. Ajit Maan Singh, ENT head at Max Hospital, Dr. W.K.Singh, Eye Specialist, Dr. Vipul Mohan, Heart & Diabetic Specialist, Dr. Ramandeep Singh Dang, Brain & Neuro Specialist, Dr.Sumit Kumar, Ortho & Spine Specialist.
The main aim of the Gurdwara is to give excellent medical facilities to the general public on charitable basis. They are also helping needy and poor people by giving them free medicines. They also get their tests conducted at very low prices and at times free of cost.
