The concept of Nagar Kirtan emerged since 15th century and is now celebrated by the Sikh community worldwide, playing a crucial role in fostering unity among Sikhs and spreading the emotional and inspiring message of spiritual knowledge of Gurbani. During Nagar Kirtan, devotees were singing Gurbani and showcase various acts of bravery and talents.
The Nagar Kirtan procession commenced from Gurudwara Sec 12 and was led by Panch Payaras, making its way to Gurudwara Sec 18. All the roads were well decorated as people gathered on road sides witnessing the bravery events performed by devotees.
Residents of our sector took great pleasure to give honour and welcomed with sprinkling of flowers when Nagar Kirtan procession reached Sec 26. Many of our sector residents generously contributed for this event.For the past decade, Dua’s family has been actively involved in offering fresh Guru Ka Langar seva to the devotees. RWA’s security extended support for managing gate. People gathered in large number to receive Prasada. Ladies and gents sewadars were busy cleaning the entire route and picking up the waste material.
Mr Dua was presented Sarwat Da Bhala momentum by Nagar Kirtan Mandli.
