Guru Nanak Ji’s Prakash Gurpurab was celebrated with great devotion & enthusiasm by the residents of Hamilton, RP2 & Windsor Condominiums. It was heavenly to see the seniors arriving on their wheelchairs, rollators & walking sticks. Children of all ages walking with grandparents, learning how to pay respect in the Gurudwara!
Sharing a meal with house-staff, security guards & neighbours was very comforting. It was a chance for the residents to serve the staff for a change. It was a moment to pay gratitude for all the blessings showered on each and every one of us by our Guru. Everything went so meticulously, in perfection, flawless that the only line which came to my mind from Guru Granth sahib was ‘ Everything is within Hukam’
Hukmai anar sab? ko bahar hukam na koe.
Everyone is subject to His Command; no one is beyond His Command.
I am proud to be part of this beautiful community where every resident comes forward with full devotion, and dedication and contributes in some form or the other to make this spiritual celebration a joyful success.
