Gurdwara Was Brilliantly Illuminated & Glowing Candles Looked Resplendent

Gurpurab Celebrations of Guru Nanak Devji’s 553rd birth Anniversary were held at the Gurdwara Singh Sabha from 6 to 8 Nov, beginning several days prior with the Prabhat Pheris group winding through the colony pre dawn with holy chants, ending at Gurdwara with daily program of kirtans ardas smapti and langar to the penultimate day 8 Nov Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism and its first Guru’s birthday. The Gurdwara was brilliantly illuminated and glowing candles looked resplendent, thronged all day by residents praying, celebrating and paying obeisance to Guru Nanak Dev ji.
Special mention must be made of the work done by RWA security team and guard Janardhan for monitoring the route and opening the barricades at 5am in the morning.
