On December 14, the GSCHB Society presented a delightful musical evening, captivating the audience with energetic performances. The star-studded lineup featured:-
Saloni Saaz, renowned for her Indian Idol fame, and Simran Raj, the voice of Punjab, enthralled the audience with their captivating renditions of popular Bollywood hits.
-Pradip Sharma sang “Jeena isi ka naam hai” from the classic film Anari touching the hearts of the audience and evoking emotions and nostalgia. It was a befitting tribute to the legendary showman Raj Kapoor coinciding with his birthday on the same day.
– Aman Deep enthralled the audience with popular Bollywood hits by legendary singers Kishor Kumar and Mohammed Rafi including “Gulabi Aankhen …”
The event showcased a diverse range of dance performances. The audience joined the performers and kept dancing with reckless abandon.
The evening’s surprise showstopper was Usha Gupta’s heartfelt rendition of “Tuhi Meri Manjil Tuhi Meri Pujaa” from the film Khandan, accompanied by nostalgic visuals of Nutan and Sunil Dutt in the background.
A high tea was served before the event.
