Govt Servants Cooperative House Building (GSCHB) Society, Vasant Vihar, hosted a spectacular ‘High-Tech’ Ramlila based on Sampurna Ramayan on Saturday, October 21, 2024 at Kalyan Kendra. The 3-hour event was a live performance by the students of Vadanta International and Kamal Boarding schools. The visual effects were created by fusion of high technology 3-D mapping with Hi Fi sounds. The event commenced with the lighting of a lamp by Deepak Mishra, President Society.
The highlight of the evening was a special appearance by the renowned film actor, producer, and comedian Asrani dressed as British era Jailer. He entertained the audience with his famous dialogue from his iconic film Sholay, “Ham Angrejon ke jamane ke jailer hain. Jab ham nahin sudhre to tum kya sudharoge..” He was presented with a memento by Deepak Mishra.
Usha Gupta, Chairperson Society Events, welcomed the distinguished guests, including Member of Parliament Bansuri Swaraj, formar MLA Anil Sharma, and Dr. VP Tandon, Chairman of Kamal Institute of Higher Education and Advance Technology and presented them with mementos. The event was a resounding success, with the audience expressing their appreciation through continuous applause. Usha Gupta concluded the evening by thanking the talented artists and the enthusiastic audience for their support.
