Dance is the language of the soul that has been a way of communication and expression since prehistoric times and has transcended boundaries, languages, cultures and hearts of the people. From Bollywood to classical dances, the concluding evening of Meghdutam Fest on 24 November saw a multitude of performances which transformed into one big canvas of community engagement. The humongous crowd witnessed performances ranging from mother and daughter duos to several group performances representing all age groups. Here are the highlights.
Dance performance on Girls Empowerment and Ramayana Dance Drama, was presented by Seema Sarkar’s dance group from Amrapali Silicon City, Sector 76. The choreography of Seema Sarkar was colorful and innovative, notwithstanding the fact that it is a huge challenge to put up a show by small children.
