As we continue our journey to protect our precious resources and environment, residents of Prateek Wisteria in Sector 77, Noida, have taken significant steps towards a greener future. For years, our focus has been on leaving a lasting legacy for future generations. However, we realize that material wealth is not the only important aspect; preserving natural resources and the environment is crucial.
To achieve this, we’ve been consistently working on planting more trees, utilizing barren land, and saving water through our Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). A remarkable transformation has taken place in the area around Prateek Wisteria. Once barren, it’s now lush green, thanks to our efforts. Few pictures are attached for the readers to note what a difference we have been able to make in creating greenery.
Residents have joined forces in 2021 to divert surplus STP water after taking care of the society need to the nearby park, which is fully developed now. This small step has resulted in saving ground water for next generation water will irrigate grassy patches and flower beds. We wanted to utilize our STP water, which was otherwise going to waste.
The Authority welcomed our proposal, to provide STP treated water across all 7X sectors plus sec 112-120 and we’re proud to contribute to Noida’s green belt.
After a 4.5-year struggle, the tender was issued by Noida Authority and work started to lay STP treated pipeline across 7X with the Park next to Prateek Wisteria becoming the first park where pipeline work was completed. This groundbreaking achievement will help preserve groundwater for future generations. The main pipeline work for sectors 77, 117, and 116 is nearing completion, with some restoration work pending.
Internal pipeline work has begun completed at Sector 116 park and going on at 117 etc. Next targets include Sector 77 park next to AVS Orchid, Vedvan Sector 78, and more. Through collective efforts, Prateek Wisteria residents demonstrate their commitment to environmental conservation, ensuring a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
