The empty stretch of land on N1 Lane adjacent to DLF Atria, designated as a greenbelt zone on the town map, is gradually turning into a dumping ground for garbage. Construction and demolition (C&D) waste, along with household waste, is piling up around the area. This accumulation of garbage poses significant health and environmental hazards. However, the situation can be effectively managed if the area is transformed into a green space. Nearby residents suggest that conducting monsoon plantation drives in this area could help clean it up and turn it into a park. We have seen many successful projects like this in DLF 1, and with community support, this initiative can surely be fruitful.
