Market Association holds live telecast
On the special date of 22nd January 2024 our Prime Minister Narendra Modi served as the ‘mukhya yajman’ (chief patron) of rituals for the event and performed the Pran pratishtha (conserection) of the Ram Mandir temple in the Ram Mandir temple, Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
When celebrations were going on everywhere, residents of Green Park celebrated the occasion in a special way. The entire Green Park market was covered with flags and posters of Ramji. The Market Association or Vyapar mandal Green park did a live telecast of pran pratistha from Ayodhya. They had called the famous singer Usha Saini for singing Ram bhajans. Ram patha’s (stole) were distributed amongst all the people who attended the pooja. The entire green park market was lit up with bright lights. 501 diyas were lit up by the market shops.
Big cut outs of Ramji were placed outside each shop. A whole Ram Darbar was decorated where Archana and Aarti of Ramji took place. The view of the Darbar was beautiful, nicely decorated with flowers, candles and the diyas. Prasad was distributed amongst 1000 followers. What a lavish way to celebrate. Same fervor was shown by the residents of Green Park Extension as well. A beautifully decorated tent with Ram Ji’s cut out was placed at gate number 2 of the colony. An invite was sent out to the residents of the colony well in advance to congregate at gate number 2 on 22nd January in the evening to offer prayers to lord Ram. In the evening a number of residents congregated at gate 2 of Green Park Extension and together lit diyas, offered flowers and prasad to Ramji. The members of the Association were present and prasad was distributed to all.
A day earlier Kalash Yatra was taken out in the colony where MP Meenakshi Lekhi was present. It was a joyous occasion for all the residents and the excitement was palpable. We wish Ramji to shower us with his blessings in the New year.
