Onto the second with a bang!
After successful completion of one round of Diva Kitty, we have started with a new round with new addition of members. On the auspicious occasion of Teej, Green Park Divas scheduled their first get together on 28th July. As the name suggests, we are a close knit group of 26 friends and residents of Green Park Main and Extension. It’s a wonderful platform to get everyone together. We have developed a great sense of bonding among us all.
This time it was a lovely celebration of Teej. One of the Kitty members, Meetu Gupta Ji took keen interest and organized and planned games and celebrations according to the theme. Oh what fun! We had from dressing up to playing tambola on specially hand crafted sheets to singing songs for the occasion. Later we also gave a brief introduction about ourselves where we shared our areas of interest and hobbies, where we originally belong from and what is the nature of work we are into.
We have different age groups varying from 35 + to 50 + but we have never faced any problems. It has always been a great platform to interact and exchange ideas on how we can do something new for our Green Park community.
We are thankful and grateful to Meetu ji for organizing the event at Safdarjung club. The food was yummy and the setup was very comfortable. Together we made some wonderful memories which we can cherish and celebrate in times to come. Each one also got a small token of gift in the form of sweets from our host Meetu ji, we also got gajras to enhance our beautiful self. Lovely way to celebrate!
