A very amusing incident occurred during the election campaign being carried out throughout the colony. On the penultimate day of the campaign, a rally of a particular party comprising approximately two thousand people was passing through the colony from Kotla red light to BRT road, Lajpat Nagar. To take care of the traffic, guards and police constables were deployed to take care of the colony. At one point near the D-105 intersection, right next to Neerav Modi Marg, the RWA guard noticed a person on a motorcycle trying his best to cut through the large crowd passing. Even after repeated requests to the motorcyclist, he still tried his best to cut across. This made the guard suspicious, who immediately notified Constable Rajesh, who was also managing the traffic, and shouted at the motorcyclist. Seeing Rajesh in police uniform, the motorcyclist started more aggressively to cut through the rally and ultimately fell. Rajesh and the guard finally caught him, and on further verification, it was noticed that it was not his motorcycle and that he had just stolen it and was getting away with it.
