The residents of F Block saw one of its kind the nature drives. A cause that could lead to immense change and with an aim to better the society as a whole, Sector- 50 witnessed a Tree Plantation Drive. The drive gained huge momentum with various people from different backgrounds joining hands. The aim was to plant over five thousand trees, which was successfully achieved to further promote the greenery that we, especially in Sector 50, see around us. Joined by the various representatives of different organizations, the drive slowly snowballed into something way bigger than anticipated.
The drive was sponsored by the Art of Living in collaboration with NOFAA, Federation of Noida Owners Association and F Block Association. Rakhi Mittal and Sanjay Dabru represented the organization, Art of Living. The drive was supported by Rajiva Singh, Dr. D Sharma and Mr. Sanjay Kumar. The drive saw the presence of esteemed guests, Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament of Gautam Buddha Nagar and Vandana Tripathi from the Horticulture Department of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The drive saw humongous participation by the residents of not only F Block, Sector 50, but from various other sectors of Noida as well. It seemed to invoke a sense of pride and excitement in the residents. The plantation drive played an important role in the betterment of the environment. and brought people together to work towards a common goal. The day captured the excitement and laughter of people across all age groups and served as a reminder that people coming together for a noble cause is indeed beautiful.
