During the days when mercury dropped down and cold wave was declared, there was rise in the entry of the delivery persons/vendors in the sector. It was party time for many families; since it was yearend and students were at home many elders too decided to work from home. Food and provisions from the favourite stores were being delivered at home, even at odd hours. A thoughtful resident shared that, “We should be grateful to the service givers, who braved the cold and made us enjoy the intense cold weather in the warmth of our homes.”
