Sharad Navratri started on 15th October. Holy flag was hoisted at the entrance gate of the decorated Shiv mandir. Mata new poshak and shringar was completed a day earlier. Every morning Durga Puja was performed from 9 to 11 am by pujari Parmod. Mata ke bhainte were offered to Ma daily from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm by 60-80 devotees. Every evening at 7pm, 108 deepak arti was performed. On 22nd October at 10am, Ashtami, Ramayan Akhand path started, bhog was done on 23rd Ram navmi at 10 am, followed by havan. At 12 midday Lord Ram Janam was welcomed with shankh dhwani, mantras and bhajans. 51 kanjak pujan with halwa poori and chunni was done. Bhram bhoj and sumptuous bhandara menu completed the Ram Janam Utsav.
