PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a part of its 120th year celebration, organised a poster making competition on 1-3-25.
Eight regular schools were invited and with efforts of teacher Savita Kapur, on 28-2-25 Gyandeep School GPM, was also invited to participate in the poster making competition.
The theme “Fostering awareness of sustainable mobility through art”. Teacher Mridula Sharma prepared 14 children, just on one day’s notice, to participate in the competition . The Judge’s judgement gave a moment of pride, when out of more than 50 participants, our children bagged the second and third prize, Simran second and Nancy third prize.
Event was attended by teacher Savita Kapur, Mridula Sharma and Poonam Jain. All participants were given a Participation certificate and a gift hamper. Event was supported by the Ministry of road transport and highways and the Ministry of heavy industries India.
The winning Art was not returned as the children were told ‘the organisers will get the artwork framed and put for exhibition’. The children were thrilled to hear this and happily returned home with pride.
