With the winters setting in earnest, winter sun has become a necessity that one cannot do without. The residents, especially the senior citizens have been complaining on all Colony platforms unilaterally. Now that grap 3 is in place, pruning seems to be a distant dream. However, the MCD can prune those branches and trees that have maximum foliage, preventing winter sun from reaching the residents. Can we request specific pruning by MCD on specific spots where it is most required. Targeted pruning will hopefully not cause the pollution level to increase or for the AQI to be affected. Hope this plea does not fall on deaf ears.
