We, the Golden Girls, gathered to celebrate life’s beauty at our Third Annual Picnic held on the serene Kalypso lawns in February. The day was filled with warmth, reminding us of the simple joys that keep us youthful.
We indulged in snacks, a flavourful Kanji, a lavish main course and sweet treats like fruit cream – our own five-star feast! To top it all off, games brought a spark in joy to the day. The happiness of being together, surrounded by nature, left us all feeling more connected than ever.
Our motto is clear: “Keep the heart unwrinkled.” We embrace this philosophy through every moment shared among friends, triumphing over the years with kindness. Laughter and love are our secret to staying vibrant, no matter the age.
Our walks allow us to remain connected, boost our spirits, and enjoy each other’s company. Since our group was formed, we celebrated Chabeel Gurpurab for two years with refreshing lassi for everyone.
This year, we participated in Lohri, singing Punjabi tappe & performing giddha. We didn’t miss to celebrate Republic Day with patriotic songs. We also made a splash at the Farmers’ Mela with our Kadhi Chawal stall, which was a huge hit!
