Lots of effort and planning goes in the housing society, by their horticulture committee, with an eye for a colouful bloom in the spring season. The society campus is kept clean and green by planting different trees, ornamental plants, flowers, lush green hedges and gardens. The entire horticulture not only enhances the beauty of the society campus but also provide lush green healthy environment to the residents.
As spring arrives, it ushers in a rainbow of colours in the heart of the apartment complex, where concrete meets nature! This seasonal metamorphosis is particularly striking. Emerging from the grip of the long, harsh winter, residents find themselves drawn outdoors by the balmy spring-time Sun. Neighbours greet each other with warm smiles, exchanging pleasantries as they bask in the rejuvenating glow of the season on the benches in the society park.
Such is the scene witnessed in ATS Greens-1 and 2, Amrapali Exotica, Mahagun Morpheus, Kailash Dham (which has 2 segments of parks) and Rail Nagar, ever since Basant set in. The bloom of flowers has got a lease of few more days due to the chill in the air, even in the month of March. The connection with nature, momentarily hushed during the winter months, is joyously re-established as the green grass and open spaces have come alive with the vibrant hues of numerous varieties of flowers.
One is welcomed at the main gate of each society with the sight of multicolored flowers, arranged in thematic design.
Central to this transformation are the unsung heroes of the complex, the dedicated army of gardeners who toil tirelessly to cultivate and nurture the botanical wonders. With expert hands and boundless passion, they coax life from the earth by tending to each flower with tender care.
The result is a visual feast for the senses. The emerald green of the grass, delicate daisies, and red and violet poinsettias, each bloom adds its own unique hue to the burst of colours that envelops the landscape. It evokes a deep sense of connection to the natural world. (Photographs courtesy Dr Pratibha Jain, Kailash Dham)
