Court Case Against It Disposed of by Saket Court
The internal squabbles, confusion & court case ended with the election & nomination of new managing committee of GKRA for the year 2023-24.
As reported in the last issue of Samvada, election for the post of President & GS was held in July /Aug.23. After that, six posts of Executive committee were also filled up by nominations, during the MC meeting of GKRA, held on 20.08.2023. MK Gupta, President of S Block Welfare Society was unanimously nominated as the Sr. Vice President by the MC. The other office bearers are: Vice President- Dilip Datta (M Block); Vice President- R Sharda (R Block); Treasurer – Sanjeev Kapoor (R Block); Associate Secretary- Ajit Verma (C Block) & Kamal Kapoor (W Block) & Vikas Paul (N Block). With the nomination of MK Gupta as the Sr. Vice President of GKRA, his stand, on which he had filed a case against GKRA (CS SCJ1252/22), was vindicated. According to MK Gupta, he was removed from the post of Sr VP in June 22, by creating an unfounded & false narrative that he had resigned from the said post.
All the other senior members present in the several meetings of GKRA, expressed their regret over this unsavory incident, due to which, GKRA had to spend close to Rs. 1,50,000 as legal fees.
In fact, one of the very senior members of Ex. Committee, admitted in one of the posts that the whole incident was stage managed by a small coterie.
Finally, SBWS & MK Gupta submitted all the documents in the court of Hon’ble Charu Asiwal, CJ-03, S E district, Saket Court & the case was disposed of accordingly on 28.08.2023. (A copy of the order is with Samvada team).
We hope that the new MC will hold the long pending AGM at the earliest.
