GKRA celebrated “International Elders’ Day” on Monday, 11th Nov., by honouring several super senior citizens of various affiliated blocks of GK I.
The function was organized in association with “Help & Care Welfare Society citizens of India”& co-sponsored by “Indus Home”, S Block & B Block Welfare Society, at Samavar Restaurant, Pamposh,
Around 12 super senior citizens (85+) from various affiliated blocks of GKRA were honoured by presenting beautiful shawls to them. The chief guests for the evening, who graced the occasion, were the Hon’ble Minister Delhi Govt., Saurabh Bhardwaj, SHO G.K 1, Inspector Bhanu Partap & our Councillor Shikha Rai.
Many seniors were seen dancing & enjoying the hit songs sung by Bobby & party.
A sumptuous food spread, sponsored by Ramesh Kichloo of Samavar, was enjoyed by all the participants.
Thermos flasks with temp indicators were gifted to all those present as a complimentary gift by GKRA. Cultural committee members of GKRA deserve a big applause for making this event quite special.
