It is a proud moment for Police Station, Greater Kailash-1, for being awarded the Trophy for obtaining 1st Position as the ‘Beat Clean Police Station’ for the year 2023. It is indeed a prestigious achievement, as the trophy is recommended by the Apex Committee of the Commissioner of Police, Delhi.
The Trophy was received by SHO PS GK-1 Inspector Bhanu Pratap at the Delhi Police Commissionerate Day Parade, which was held on 01/07/2024 at New Police Lines in Kingsway Camp.
Neighbourhood RWA Office Bearers met and congratulated SHO Bhanu Pratap in the Police Station, who lauded the efforts of his PS team and residents for making this possible. GKRA the Apex Body of GK-I RWA’s also invited SHO to their MC Meeting to felicitate him for lifting the prestigious trophy.
GKRA Office Bearers took this opportunity to discuss the security issues that have been noticed in the past few weeks. In particular, the spate of manhole cover thefts from stilt parking in broad day light, in different Blocks of GK-I have similar modus Operandi. SHO apprised the MC Members that police is working on the case and expect to catch the culprit soon.
At the time of going to the press GKRA General Secretary has been informed by SHO that a thief and his accomplice a kabari wala have been arrested. Kudos to PS team for a very prompt action.
