On the series of celebrations around the 200th birth year of Maharishi Swami Dayanand Saraswati, a State-of-the-Art Vedic Kendra constructed at Arya Samaj Kailash Greater Kailash-1 was inaugurated on Sun, 27 Aug.
‘Brijmohan Munjal Vedic Kendra’ (BMVK) has been named after the founder of Hero Group, Late Brijmohan Munjal in his 100th birth anniversary year. Built in the shape of a Pyramid sitting on a raised platform, was inaugurated by the Munjal Parivar, in the gracious presence of their extended family members.
Vedic Kendra’s ‘Mahashaya Dharampal MDH International House’ in the memory of late Mahashaya Dharampal Gulati in his 100th birth anniversary year was also inaugurated by the MDH Parivar led by Mahashaya Rajeev Gulati and Jyoti Gulati.
BMVK an Architectural Wonder, both in its Appearance & Facilities is designed by Architect Goonmeet Singh Chauhan, boasting of a 400+ seater auditorium at Level One. The Structure presents a spiritually pleasing Ambience, equipped with State-of-the-Art UPS backed Audio-Visual-Lighting System, DG backup, fire protection system, with ample Parking.
Level Two shall be a well-equipped Digital & Physical ‘Harsh Munjal Library’. Level Three shall have ‘Rajiv Chaudhri Meditation Hall’ designed to radiate positive energy in the Golden Glow of Natural Lighting, in memory of late Rajiv Chaudhri whose foresight, passion & dedication encouraged the entire Arya Samaj Team in completion of the ambitious project. A Digital Museum on the life of Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati is also planned at the Stilt Level.
MDH block has 10 guest rooms with modern amenities for Vedic Scholars, delegates and participants for meditation courses, cultural programs and corporate conferences. The backyard over the underground fire water tank has been beautifully landscaped with green cover and plants, offering a pleasant green environment.
The event was also addressed by Sunil Kant Munjal focusing on the need for connecting with the youth, by adopting modern communication tools for greater connect, by incorporating Vedic Philosophy as espoused by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati, that has since inception, encouraged acceptance of new reality with open minded approach, touched a chord with the audience.
During the event, two short films on the lives of Late Brijmohan Munjal and late Mahashaya Dharampal Gulati were screened. Dr Sukriti Mathur, Arya Samaj’s melodious bhajan singer also rendered soul soothing bhajans during the event which ended with High Tea.
