In a world where most people seek contentment through shallow tactics, here is a Good Samaritan who brings joy in her life by making others happy. Anju Malhotra, an S Block GK-2 resi-dent, has been a philanthropist for as long as she can remember. This is a trait that comes naturally to her and is intrinsic to her temperament. While we were listening to the horrors wreaked upon Delhi by the recent monsoon deluge from the comforts of our homes, Anju Malhotra took it upon herself to visit the flood affected areas to provide relief to those rendered homeless. Not only did she carry along with her sacksful of essentials like clothes, mosquito nets, tarpaulin, footwear and comestibles for distribution to them, she also engaged the gloomy children of the affected families in various fun activities.
This is not the first time that she has reached out to the needy so kindly. She has demonstrated this streak in her behavior time and again. She recalls having provided reiki to the War heroes in the Army Base Hospital besides regularly supplying provisions to the old age homes and celebrating festivals with the underprivileged and deprived over the years. Her list of generosity runs endless. The joyful expressions that she sees on the faces of those she helps bring extreme satisfaction to her which makes all her efforts worthwhile. Her benevolent spirit is contagious and we hope she continues to inspire others to join her in her noble cause.
