The General Body Meeting (GBM) of the Meghdootam Senior Citizens Welfare Forum (MSCWF) was held in the Club House of Omaxe Twin Towers, Sector-50, Noida, on Saturday 6 May followed by a get together. About 70 persons including members and guests participated in the get together.
Chairman, JC Kala, profusely thanked the RWA of Omaxe Twin Towers to allow their Club House for the GBM and the get-together of the Forum. He also welcomed all participants and also introduced the new members and guests to the gathering by presenting a rose bud.
The GBM which consists of only members passed the annual report of the Secretary General, Audited Accounts for the year 2022–23. It also approved the appointment of existing Auditors for the year 2023–2025.
Election Officer, Mahendra Singh, announced the results of the elected office-bearers and members. The entire Executive Committee was elected unanimously. JC Kala, as Chairman; KS Chauhan as Vice Chairman; AK Nauriyal as Secretary General; Suresh Sharma as General Secretary; and VK Kapur as Secretary Finance were declared elected unopposed. In addition, SP Goel, KK Rana, Ramesh Chander and Dr. S Kulshrestha were declared elected as members of the Executive Committee unopposed.
After the GBM was over, the Manager a finance bank explained the working of the bank and wanted participants to use the bank for their day-to-day banking needs. Thereafter a lottery was drawn which was won by (Mrs) Sushma Kala. She however, returned the lottery amount to the Forum. One round of Tambola was also played.
The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to the Chairman followed by dinner.
