Rashmi Verma (A-181) Has a Beautiful Terrace Garden
To continue our mission to highlight the efforts of our residents to make our colony greener and full of oxygen, this month we visited the beautiful garden of Vermas @ A-181 Def Col, who are putting in lots of effort for this success. We met Rashmi Verma And her husband, Krishan Verma, in their beautiful terrace garden, which is full of green plants along with some medicinal plants and creepers.
Rashmi Verma, who hails from Lucknow, married the coolest dude and great cricketer, Krishan Verma, in 1982. After shifting to Defence Colony, Rashmi started collecting a few small plants for her garden, and with time, created a garden with a variety of plants to sit with her husband and family for morning and evening tea. This hobby ensured lots of vegetables for her kitchen and prompted her to create a space for some evergreen plants in front of her house. This space was used to throw garbage but with her efforts, it became full of green patches with lemon, anar, guava, mausami, kadhi patta, etc. Rashmi, who is a champion in the insurance industry, creates time for this hobby and is a popular face in our colony. She keeps gifting these plants to her neighbours and friends.
